When I Need Youis een promo single en alleen uitgebracht in Brazilië op 7 september 1998.

Na de Falling Into You tour in juni 1997 begon Céline aan de opnamens van Let's Talk About Love, Céline en Rene wilde er een paar covers op zetten. David Foster kwam met het idee op Leo Sayers hit When I Need You op te nemen. Zo gezegd zo gedaan. Céline heeft When I Need You in een avond opgenomen in de Paramound Studios, later heeft David Foster het afgemixt in de Chartmaker Studios.

Céline heeft dit nummer live gezongen tijdens de Let's Talk About Love avec Julie Snyder TV show eind 1997.

Naeen reeks succesvolle singles zoals My Heart Will Go On enImmortality had Sony Music besloten om When I Need You als promo single uit te brengen in Brazilië, de 2 voorgaande singles waren immers erg succesvol daar, maar zonder videoclip en bijna geen promotie werd When I Need You niet het succes waar Sony op gehoopt had.

Vooralsnog is When I Need You alleen op Let's Talk About Love terug te vinden.
