"One Heart" is geschreven en geproduceerd door John Shank en Kara DioGuardi, Céline heeft later nog eens samen gewerkt met hen in 2007 voor het album "Taking Chances".
De videoclip van "One Heart" is geregisseerd door Antti Jokinen en uitgebracht op 30 mei 2003, deze videoclip is terug te vinden op de dubbele A single "One Heart / I Drove All Night" die uitgebracht is in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. De "Making of..." staat als bonus materiaal op de DVD "A New Day...Live In Las Vegas".
"One Heart" was in vele Europese landen een groot succes en zelfs een paar jaar na het uitbrengen kwam de single nog op nummer 27 te staan in het Verenigd Koninkrijk. Naast dat "One Heart" op het album "One Heart" staat is het nummer ook terug te vinden op "My Love: Ultimate Essential Collection".
