The Power Of Love is de eerste single van The Colour Of My Love en uitgebracht op 1 november 1993 in Noord Amerika en in december in de rest van de wereld.

The Power Of Love is een Cover van Jenifer Rush, Céline heeft al eerder een nummer van Jennifer opgenomen, alleen was het dit keer een vertaling in het Frans. Higher Ground werd namelijk Plus Haut Que Moi.

De videoclip voor The Power Of Love is geregisseerd door Randee St  Nicholas en uitgebracht in November 1993. De Videoclip is ook terug te vinden op de DVD van  All the Way… A Decade of Song & Video.

The Power Of Love werd een enorme hit en stond a snel in de top 10 in alle hitlijsten over de hel wereld.

Naast dat we The Power Of Love terug kunnen vinden op The Colour Of My Love, staat het ook op 
All the Way… A Decade of Song en  My Love: Essential Collection. Een Live versie van The Power Of Love kunnen we terug vinden op de CD van  Céline Dion À l'Olympia en  Live à Paris. Verder staat er ook een live versie op de DVD van A New Day... Live In Las Vegas.
