I'm Alive is de 2de single van A New Day Has Come en is uitgebracht op 12 augustus 2002
I'm Alive is geschreven door Kristian Lundin en Andreas Carlsson, die al eerder met Céline heeft gewerkt in 1999, hij heeft namelijk meegwerkt met het verwezelijke van That's The Way It Is. I'm Alive is tevens de titelsong van Stuard Little 2.

De videoclip is geregiseerd door Dave Meyers en opgenomen op 24 en 25 mei en uitgebracht in juni 2002, er zijn 2 versies uiteindelijk gemaakt een met scènes uit Stuard Little 2 en een zonder scènes uit Stuard Little.

I'm Alive, werd een groot succes wereldwijd en stond in heel veel landen in de top 10 van de hitslijsten, het werd zelfs Platina in belgië (50,000) en Goud in Frankrijk (250,000)

Céline heeft I'm Alive 7 jaar lang in A New Day... gezongen, en je kunt dus een live versie terug vinden op CD van A New Day... Live In Las Vegas en ook op de DVD van  A New Day... Live In Las Vegas

I'm Alive was een nummer dat het zo goed deed op de buhne dat Céline besloot het ook tijdens de Taking Chances Tour te doen, alleen gebruikte ze deze keer een nieuwe remix.


In oktober 2008 is de album versie van I'm Alive toegevoegd op My Love: Essentional Collection, de remix die gebruikt is voor de Taking Chances Tour is gemaakt foor Laurent Wolf en is als promo CD singel uitgebracht in Frankrijk, en die van Maurice Joshua is ook uitgebracht als promo en veel gedaait in clubs, en natuurlijk door het succes is deze  in de Hot Dance Club Play terecht gekomen
I'm Alive is als eerste geremix door Joe Bermudez Rocks en Ric Wake, naast deze Remix van I'm Alive zijn er nog veel meer remixen, hieronder even een lijstje met alle remixen:
