In februari van 1996 maakte het management van Céline bekend dat ze ter ondersteuning van het nog uit te komen nieuwe album een wereldtour zal doen. Céline zal onder andere voor de eerste keer naar Zuid Korea, Australië, New Zealand en Italië afreizen. Op 18 maart 1996, 8 dagen na het uitbrengen van het 'Falling Into You' album begint Céline de 'Falling Into You' tour in Australië.
Australie en New Zealand
Céline begint de tour de eerste dagen zonder René in Perth Australië, en alle 8 de shows in Australie zijn uitverkocht. Tijdens deze tour reist Georges-Hébert Germain mee om een biografie te schrijven, hij interviewt Céline, René maar ook mensen dichtbij Céline zoals bandleden en crew. Ook observeerde hij Céline tijdens de concerten en schreef daar ook leuke stukjes over. In Australië kennen ze Céline wel maar het is de eerste keer dat ze er medere shows geeft, dus komt er van Céline's kant tijdens een van de praatjes tussendoor een mini biografie van hoe ze opgroeide en wat ze thuis deden.
Europa
Nadat Celine Australië en Noord Amerika heeft doorkruisd is het nu de beurt aan Europa. Céline geeft de concerten in 1996 nog in de wat kleinere concertzalen, vooral omdat ze in de niet Franstalige landen nog iets meer bekendheid nodig heeft om de grote arena's te kunnen doen. Céline doet tijdens deze tour Nederland 2 keer aan. In 1996 staat ze 2 avonden achter elkaar in de Ahoy. Op één van de 2 avonden zingt ze 'Les Derniers Seront Les Premiers', wat via sataliet wordt uitgezonden op de nationale TV in Canada, een deel van de opbrengsten van dit concert schenkt Céline aan WarChild. 8 maanden later vult ze de Amsterdam ArenA tot aan de nok vol! En tot 2008 was het concert in de Amsterdam ArenA het grootste openlucht concert wat Céline gegeven had, in 2008 gaat het record over naar Canada, waar Céline het speciale concert gaf voor het 400 jarig bestaan van Canada.
Azië
Céline tourt tijdens deze tour voor de 2de keer door Azië, maar doet nieuwe landen aan zoals Zuid Korea, het is ook tijdens deze tour door Azië dat Céline een prive optreden mag verzorgen voor de Sultan van Brunei. Céline is hiermee een van de weinige vrouwen die de sultan de ogen heeft gekeken. Video & Geluid
Tijdens het Concert dat Céline gaf in Memphis, zijn video opnames gemaakt die later zijn uitgebracht als 'Live In Memphis', dit concert is alleen als VHS uitgebracht, er was een tijdje geleden sprake dat er ook een DVD zou verschijnen maar dit is helaas tot de dag van vandaag nog niet gebeurd. Ook is er van dit concert geen CD verschenen. Ook is er op de avond dat Céline in de Amsterdam Arena stond op radio 1 een live concert uitgezonden wat beter bekend staat als 'Live in Zurich', dit concert is alleen maar op de radio uitgezonden en nooit als CD uitgebracht.
